Terms of service
1. The service
QuadroTax is a computation tool that processes the crypto-asset transactions you provide and prepares supporting values for the Italian tax return (LIFO capital gains, Quadro RT, Quadro RW, IVAFE, F24 summary) in a report to hand to your chartered accountant (dottore commercialista).
2. Not tax advice
QuadroTax does not provide tax, legal or financial advice and does not file returns with the Italian Revenue Agency: filing requires an authorised intermediary. The values produced are estimates based on the data you upload and on the rules in force at computation time, and must be verified by a qualified professional before any payment or filing. Rates and forms may change.
3. Account and uploaded data
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy and completeness of the data you import.
- For API syncs you agree to use read-only keys only; we will never ask for keys with trading or withdrawal permissions.
- You can delete your account and data at any time from the app; deletion is immediate and irreversible.
4. Plans and payments
- Computation and the portfolio tracker are free; purchasing a plan unlocks the report (PDF, CSV and RT/RW/F24 values) as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Base and Plus are one-time purchases valid for the filing season; Studio is a yearly subscription, cancellable before renewal.
- By purchasing the immediate unlock of the report you consent to immediate performance of the digital service; under art. 59(o) of the Italian Consumer Code the 14-day withdrawal right lapses once the report is downloaded. Before downloading it remains available: write to [email protected].
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, attempt to access other users' data, circumvent technical limits, or resell the service without a written agreement (professional firms have the Studio plan).
6. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, QuadroTax is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, nor for penalties or additional taxes arising from incomplete or incorrect data uploaded by the user, from regulatory changes, or from the absence of professional review of the produced values. Aggregate liability is in any case limited to the amounts paid for the service in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and the data safe (backups, EU hosting) without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. We may update features and these terms: material changes will be announced on the platform and apply to subsequent use from publication.
8. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the competent court is that of their place of residence or domicile; for business users, the controller's court of reference.
